The Purpose of the Training Donations, Maintaining the Standard of the Video Trainings, and Praying for the Semiannual Trainings

God's New Testament economy is to have a Body for His beloved Son, that is, the church as the organic Body of Christ (Eph. 1:22-23; 2:16; 3:6; 4:4, 16; 5:30). The aim of the new covenant ministry as a service to carry out the divine economy is to perfect the saints to become normal, living, functioning members of the Body (2 Cor. 3:6, 8; 4:1; Eph. 4:11-12). Both growth in life and perfecting through training are necessary. In order for a pilot to be qualified to fly an airplane, he needs not only to grow humanly but also to receive adequate professional training. Similarly, in order for the saints to exercise their function in and for the Body of Christ, they need to mature in the divine life and also to receive proper training, proper discipleship, which helps them develop their spiritual gifts (Heb. 6:1; 1 Cor. 12:4-11, 31; Rom. 12:6; Eph. 3:7). For this reason the ministry in the Lord's recovery has conducted the semiannual trainings to nourish the saints for their growth in life and perfect them to cultivate their spiritual abilities and skills.
