For the past fifty years, our efforts have been focused on getting the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee collected, edited, and published. Now, having done this, we are turning our attention to the distribution of these riches. A Report from the 2021 Cairo International Book Fair |
Despite the pandemic the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair took place June 30—July 15, 2021, in Cairo, Egypt. This book fair is considered the largest literary event in the world. Normally it is held in late January through mid-February and attracts about three to five million visitors every year; this year it was delayed due to the pandemic. Living Stream Ministry participated this year through the service of Al-Jadwal Al-Haii (the Arabic literature center in Egypt) for the fourth year in a row. Read more...

To Open Up the Books of the Bible
In 1974 Brother Witness Lee began writing the footnotes for the Holy Bible Recovery Version for use in his semiannual Life-study trainings. He wrote these footnotes to expound the books of the Bible for a few definite purposes. Those of us who have benefited from Brother Lee’s Life-study of the Bible may realize some of these purposes, but perhaps not all of them are clear to all of us. In this issue of our newsletter, we would like to continue our presentation of his comments about each purpose for the Recovery Version with the footnotes, again giving some concrete examples to help our readers see and enjoy each for themselves.
