Literature Work in Turkey and Sri Lanka
|
There is a spiritual famine throughout the earth, just as there was a famine in Joseph’s time. However, the Lord’s recovery is a storehouse filled with food, just as Joseph’s storehouses were. We have seen the need among God’s children; therefore, we should rise up and distribute the food in our storehouse. (The Collected Works of Witness Lee, 1984, vol. 5, “Guidelines for the Propagation of the Lord’s Recovery,” p. 110).
The literature work in Turkey and Sri Lanka is opening up Joseph’s storehouses to feed the Lord’s children. Read more...

The Need for Training in the Lord's Recovery
|
In the Lord’s recovery we have many kinds of trainings. Each year, the Living Stream Ministry (LSM) hosts two, six-day trainings for the seeking saints and two trainings for the elders and responsible ones among the churches. LSM also furnishes the full-time training in Anaheim, which is for seeking college graduates. This training has been replicated in many countries throughout the earth. In addition, numerous co-workers hold various kinds of trainings worldwide as part of the one work in the Lord’s recovery. Furthermore, there are local trainings in which the prophets and teachers in each church train the saints in their locality to preach the gospel and to shepherd, nourish, and perfect their fellow believers. Now let us consider the matter of training and why it is so important in the Lord’s work and move. Read More...

New Schedule for DMS Subscriptions
|
Beginning in 2022 Living Stream Ministry will adjust our Direct Mail Service (DMS) subscription schedule (see link below for new schedule). We have been forced to make this change due to the long turnaround times that we are now receiving from our printers. On the positive side, this enables us to consistently ship The Holy Word for Morning Revival (HWMR) together with its corresponding issue of The Ministry of the Word, which includes the edited messages in their entirety. Thus, our February DMS shipment will include both publications based upon the message from the 2021 International Thanksgiving Blending Conference. This is very useful to those who want to read the full conference messages in addition to what is provided in the HWMR.
To add The Ministry of the Word to your DMS subscription, please call (714) 236-6050 or email [email protected].

When I was young, I was taught that grace means that we do nothing and that God does everything for us. According to this teaching, anything we do is work, not grace, but whatever God does for us is grace. However, according to the New Testament, grace is actually what God is to us for our enjoyment (John 1:16-17; 2 Cor. 12:9). Read more...

Setting Our Hope on Grace
|
Peter…charges us to set our hope completely on the grace [1 Pet. 1:13]. This hope is the living hope which has issued from regeneration (v. 3). We need to set our living hope completely on the grace that is being brought to us at the unveiling of Jesus Christ…This grace…refers to the salvation of the soul (vv. 5, 9-10), which will be the consummation of God’s full salvation. The grace has been brought to us by the Lord’s first coming (John 1:17). It will be consummated by His second coming. On such grace we should set our hope. Read more...
